Centennial High School Spring Performance Trip

Universal Orlando and the STARS Performance Program

Dear Parents and Students:

It’s official, Centennial Orchestra is invited to perform in the “STARS Performance

Program” at Universal Orlando, Congratulations Mr. Young Kim, Director, Students

& parents.

The performance is scheduled for Friday, March 30^th 2007 at 10:40am.

We have now started our planning for this years “Spring Performance Trip”, with the

help of “American Odyssey Tours”. The trip is scheduled from March 29^th, 2007 to

April 1, 2007.

The trip cost will be approximately $450 per student until we have confirmation deposits

from each student who will be attending. Cost will include hotel, bus, meals and tickets to

the park. This trip is open for all Orchestra students. There is a $100 non refundable

deposit due on November 27^th, 2006. This deposit ensures a place on the trip roster for

your student. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Your trip costs can be paid by using your student account earnings, fundraisers or paid in full

or by following a schedule. The schedule of payments will be as follows:

$100 Deposit – Due Monday, November 27^th, 2006

$100 – Due December 15^th, 2006

$150 – Due January 12^th, 2007

$100 – Due February 16^th, 2007

(Last payment will be determined when we have confirmed actual number of students attending)

All other information such as hotel information, field trip permission form, selected chaperones

and related information will be sent home with students or emailed once we have collected the

deposits and have an accurate count of who will be attending the spring orchestra

performance trip. Our first trip meeting will be on February 13^th, 2007 @ 7pm (this will

also be confirmed at a later date)

Tentative Itinerary:

Thursday, March 29^th

4:30pm – Depart Centennial High School on a luxury motor coach for Orlando, FL

Watch movies on the way. Bring dinner on the bus

12:30am (on the 30^th)- Arrive and check into the hotel (Rodeway Inn-International)

Friday, March 30^th

7:30am – Wake up call and breakfast buffet

9:00am - Universal Studios

10:40am - Performance at the park

12:00pm - Full day at Universal Studios

** Lunch included

7:30pm - Dinner buffet at local restaurant

9:00pm - Return to hotel. Free time at pool or local shops

Saturday, March 31^st

7:30am – Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

9:30am – Full day to enjoy the rides at Islands of Adventure

** Lunch included

7:30pm - Dinner at local restaurant

8:30pm - Free time

Sunday, April 1^st

8:30am – Breakfast buffet at the hotel

9:30am – Free time at pool and local shops

11:00am – Depart for home

Meal stop (cash to students)

9:00pm – Estimated arrival back at school
