2nd Annual Orchestra Summer Camp

This was a great camp!
The music was very challenging; and yet the students performed very
well,
despite having only two half days to learn the music. The
students did a great job! We were very impressed!
We hope the students had ample time for social during this camp.
We hope the students had a great time meeting and making
new friends.
Special thanks to two wonderful parents, Ruthanna McConnell and
Lisa Richardson, for their help in organizing and supporting this camp.
Thanks to them, the students and the clinicians were treated very well.
We also need to thank Mrs. Sandy Lynch for providing cookies and
drinks for our students during the break. The students had much fun
while “devouring” those goodies.
The following parents also need to be recognized for serving pizza,
ice cream, drinks, and chaperoning the students. They are:
Mrs. Salay, Mrs. Minnick, Mrs. Supra Lee, Mrs. Wagner, and Mrs. DeBuys.
Others whom we need to thank are:
- Dr. John Bartley, Principal of Centennial High School, for his special
effort to come and hear our students perform.
- Bill McClain and the Atlanta Violin Shop for their support for this camp.
